About Amira Aman, Leadership Development Consultant

Kia ora and congratulations on looking to advance your (or your organisation’s) leadership skills.

I specialise in leadership development, focusing on coaching and mentoring. I work with tumuaki, Kāhui Ako leaders, and kaiako to enhance their teaching and leadership practices. I facilitate workshops on topics like developing mentoring and coaching skills, growing leadership capacity, building effective teams, fostering school culture, and mastering courageous conversations.

In addition to my work in education, I support business leaders in developing their ability to grow talent within their organisations through mentoring and coaching. I also help organisations design and implement structured mentoring and coaching programs to nurture leadership from within.

Past leadership training has included Effective Mentoring Skills at The Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce, Mentoring for Police Women, and Leadership and eDISC profiling for the Government Women’s Network. In the education sector, I work closely with principals and Boards of Trustees to meet the requirements for Principal Professional Growth Cycles.
